Cryptocurrency exchange and custodial solution

In 2019, Firi got registered with Finanstilsynet (the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) as a cryptocurrency exchange and custodial solution in Norway. You will find information about our registration here.

Finanstilsynet is an independent government agency that builds on laws and decisions emanating from the Storting (Norwegian parliament), the Norwegian government and the Ministry of Finance. Finanstilsynet's main goal is to contribute to financial stability and well-functioning markets.

As registered with Finanstilsynet, Firi is required to report in accordance with Hvitvaskingsloven (the Anti-Money Laundering Act). We therefore comply with a number of requirements to prevent and detect attempts at money laundering and financing of terrorism.
